STONE COLD STEVE PAWSTIN

Say hello to Stone Cold Steve Pawstin!!! He’s been here about 4 hours and I already love him!!! This little Diamond in the rough was at Highland County Animal Control for several months and I am so glad we were able to pull him today!!
We believe he is a Catahoula Mix due to some subtle Merle spots on his back and his handsome houndy howl.
This boy was so happy to be free he came over, put his paws on my shoulders, licked my face, and then just pushed his head into my chest while I hugged him for about 45 seconds.
At one point in his life this boy was definitely loved! He knows sit, down, beg, and is good about going in his kennel. He also seems to be house trained.
We want him to find a very loving home again, so feel free to reach out if you think he may be the one for you!!
We want to hold on to him for a few days to a week and give him some time to decompress before adopting him out or dog/cat testing him, but if you would like to go ahead and fill out an adoption app you are welcome to!
